WAYS YOU CAN HELP

We can only provide our services to the community because of the generous support we receive from businesses, schools, church and community groups, individuals and families.

There are a number of ways you can get involved and help share love and hope to those doing it tough.

DONATION DRIVE

Each week we distribute emergency food hampers, toiletries, basic camping equipment, and clothing to guests who are doing it tough. You can help us keep our shelves stocked by holding a donation drive amongst your family and friends, workplace, community or church group, or school.

Donations can be dropped off at The CREW on Mondays and Thursdays between 9am and 1:30pm when our friendly team members are available to assist you.

Pantry items in high demand are: Pasta or simmer sauce, pasta, rice, 2 minute noodles, cereal, long life milk, canned baked beans or spaghetti, biscuits of crackers.

Toiletries in need include: unopened body wash, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant. Sanitary items, nappies of all sizes, and continence wear are also requested frequently.

Basic camping supplies of tents, sleeping bags, swags, camping stoves, and butane gas canisters are welcome.

Donations of clean clothing in good condition are also welcome. Please help our amazing team of volunteers stay on top of their workload by limiting your donations to one or two bags at a time.

VOLUNTEERING

We can only provide the services we do thanks to the generosity of people donating their time and skills to make a difference.

If you are interested in volunteering on the team, please complete the Get Involved form below with details of your availabilty and any specific skills you would like to contribute to the team. When a role beomes available which matches your information, a team member will be in contact.

As we operate a busy Drop-In Centre, please be aware that we are only able to accommodate volunteers 18 years and older. To find out how you can get involved with your school-aged children, please select this option on the form and we will be in contact to discuss options.

FUNDRAISER EVENT

As we don’t receive government funding, we rely on the generous donations from our donors and community members to keep our doors open.

If you are interested in hosting a fundraiser event on behalf of The CREW as an individual, family, community or church group, business or school, we would love to hear from you. Simply complete the Get Involved form below and we will be in contact with you soon.
